Ed Stiffler joined CEDC in 2003, bringing a strong background in economic development, business and real estate development. Ed works with businesses assisting with their relocation and financing needs; and serves as a liason between local planning boards and businesses.
Prior to joining CEDC, Ed had a 27-year career with the Columbia County Planning Department. During his tenure with the County, he was instrumental in the design, construction, zoning approvals and marketing of one of the County’s signature business initiatives: the Gerald R. Simons Commerce Center. Today this 200+ acre parcel is home to 20+ businesses employing over 300 full and part time people.
